Blackmon Service, Inc. (BSI), a Charlotte, NC based company, has an immediate opening for an experienced Warehouse Associate.  BSI provides electrical and mechanical construction and service for mission critical facilities including, but not limited to, data centers, co-location facilities, server rooms and enterprise centers.  We are seeking an experienced candidate who looking for a growth opportunity in a great work team.

Job Description:  The primary duties of this position include picking up parts and supplies, delivering materials to technicians in the field. Ordering stock for the warehouse, picking orders from warehouse stock, receiving deliveries into the warehouse, keeping warehouse organized and presentable.  Assisting with jobs in the field as necessary, doing basic maintenance tasks within the shop and office.

Job Requirements

  • Experience managing a warehouse environment and logistics planning

  •  Some Knowledge of HVAC, Controls, and Electrical systems preferred.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

  • Forklift Experience

  • Experience driving  a large box truck (CDL not required)

  • Valid Social Security number.

  • Position requires a self-motivated problem solver that has the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fluid, fast paced team-orientated environment.

  • Must be able to pass background and drug test(s) as required by company and customers.

  • Some travel required

  • Written, Verbal, interpersonal, and telephone communications skills are a must.

  • Requires a great attitude working with both customers and internal parties.

  • Must be able to communicate intelligently and effectively with customers and BSI Management.

  • Flexible work schedule. Requires 24/7 support as deemed necessary/occasional unexpected Overtime.
